At this stage, the parties have moved on to reviewing the objectives in more detail, and each side presented draft texts based on their goals, which were then discussed mutually. The negotiations will continue on Tuesday, March 3, when the review of the draft texts will proceed.

The negotiations in the University of Applied Sciences sector have begun on 30th Jan 2026. In the first negotiation meeting, we reviewed the economic situation as well as salary statistics for the sector. The parties also exchanged their negotiation objectives. The next negotiation meeting is on Monday, February 2nd.

Collective agreement negotiations for the YTN Universities of Applied Sciences sector will begin when our negotiators meet for the first official negotiation session on Friday, 30 January 2026. Representing YTN as negotiators are our agreement sector lead Susanna Hernberg, as well as Mikko Sormunen and Julia Lauren.
