Settlement of comprehensive agreement negotiations in the consulting sector

The Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff (YTN) and the Federation of Finnish Technology Industries/the Finnish Association of Consulting Firms (SKOL) settled their negotiations on 16 October regarding a collective agreement for professional and managerial staff in the consulting sector for 1 November 2013 to 31 October 2016.
The settlement is in accordance with the Pact for Employment and Growth made by labour market associations in August.
The Board of YTN will discuss the outcomes of all negotiations according to the Pact for Employment and Growth on Friday 25 October, after which more detailed information will be provided about the content of any approved negotiation outcomes.
ATL to negotiate regarding its own collective labour agreement
The Association of Finnish Architects Offices (ATL) is not a party to the collective labour agreement for professional and managerial staff in the consulting sector as of 1 November 2013.
YTN is negotiating a new collective labour agreement for the architecture industry in cooperation with the Association of Finnish Architects Offices (ATL) and Service Sector Employers PALTA. Negotiations will next resume on Monday 21 October. The goal is to settle the negotiations at the latest by the end of October, when the current collective labour agreement ends.
