YTN’s architectural design sector strikes in May 2025
YTN pays strike allowance to the members of YTN’s member unions who participated in the strikes of the architectural design sector on 28 May and 30 May. The allowance is paid for the days when the member has been on strike and not on a shift pursuant to the work schedule.
You can apply for the allowance through our system for one month from the day of the strike. If you apply after this period, please contact your union.
General instructions on strike allowances
The application for strike allowance for both strike days opens on the second day of the strike. You can choose the days for which you want to apply for strike allowance. We recommend applying for the allowance as soon as possible. However, you can apply for the allowance through our system for one month from the day of the strike. If you apply for the allowance after this, please contact your union.
The strike allowance is EUR 90 per strike day. EUR 16 of the allowance is tax-exempt, the excess (EUR 74) is subject to a 40% tax prepayment. A tax card is not required.
Each strike day will have its own form, so make sure that you apply for the allowance for the right day.
You can sign in to our strike assistance system with your online banking IDs.
